I've been using bodysupps for over a year now and every time I order something online I know I'm buying the best there is on the market. I've been using supplements seriously since I first tried muscle milk, it was amazing how fast I was able to make gains. After a couple of sessions in the gym using muscle milk, I really started to notice results. Combining a strength training regime, boxing and a fartlek running program, I went from being a modest sized guy into a lean fighting machine.

After all the running and gym work, I was finding it really hard to psyche myself up for anything on the weekend. So I started using animal pak multivitamins. These vitamins are some pretty serious stuff, I dont recommend taking them before you sleep, you'll be spending all night wishing you were lifting something. So I had a look around on the Bodysupps site and found some casein. This stuff is awesome to take at night, when you're still kinda hungry but dont want to get into the sweets. Its a slow release source of protein, so its good to have in your system over night. You'll wake up and not feel really hungry or totally wrecked.

During training, I got to a stage where I was going through my protein powder so fast I couldn't get enough of the stuff. I thought it was time to make a move toward the big guns and ordered a 10-pound bag of ON 100% whey protein.

I am 50 years old and lead a very active physical life with Martial Arts, gym training, running, cycling, and tennis. With my Martial Arts, we train in the early morning by running up stairs and hill. I used to suffer during these trainings and my recovery was drawn out over days. I started supplementing my diet with protein and vitamins. For my protein, I use CytoSport Complete Whey Protein on some days, Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey Protein, and International Protein Synergy 5 on other days and BSN Animal Pak vitamins and minerals, UDO’s Omega 3-6-9 essential oil on my muesli in the morning and a MHP T-Bomb II for a testosterone boost almost everyday.

I have been following this supplement intake for over a year now and it just dawned on me, my recovery rate has improved dramatically. I can do the morning training, followed by the evening Martial Arts classes and I don’t have the sore muscles as I did before. With the Martial Arts training, we train to reach our physical and mental boundaries primarily by running up stairs and up the local hills around Canberra. What used to be a ‘3 stop’ mountain climb, I am now doing it non-stop. Not bad for an old guy. I put this down to my protein intake, vitamins and minerals plus a balanced diet. 

As you know, with extreme and long endurance training that is exactly what happens. When your body does not have a source of protein readily available, it will start braking down your lean muscles. Of course once this is bad when it occurs and extends your recovery, in fact your not recovering, but in repair mode.

So I am a firm believer if you are active and want to look after yourself, you need to supplement your diet, and that is why I am in the business of providing body supplements.
